A Tip For Peeling Ginger Root More Easily
Make sure the ginger root is solid and moist when you buy it. It’s fine if the root was chopped off and there’s a dry patch. Avoid using withered ginger roots since the juice has dried up.
Rinse the ginger underneath the sink and wash it really well to remove the dust from it. Then, using a kitchen towel, blot it dry and set it aside to dry. The cleaned ginger can be left on the shelf to dry.
